During your doctoral or postdoctoral research, you will have many questions about planning your career, whether you wish to remain in academia or pursue other opportunities. You will explore your options, set your course, and make decisions about your future. The HRA will assist you throughout this process by providing a wide range of training and advisory services. Career counseling (German/English)

In career counselling, we assist you with your individual questions about shaping your own career and your future career path. The counselling comprises a maximum of three appointments, each lasting one hour. Participation in an initial consultation is a prerequisite for participation in career counselling.

In this one-hour small group coaching session, we highlight the key criteria underlying a successful academic career. Participating early-career researchers reflect on how they can sharpen their academic profile in a targeted manner, showcase their skills and achievements, and examine the extent to which an academic career fits in with their goals and aspirations.

In this group consultation, we will explore career opportunities in business, administration, foundations and other social sectors. The event offers an opportunity to exchange ideas with other doctoral candidates and postdocs who are in similar stages of orientation.
