Note on accessibility
This note on accessibility applies to the Hamburg Research Academy website (www.hra-hamburg.de).
As a public office in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102, our goal is to provide a fully accessible website in keeping with the provisions of the Hamburg act on equal treatment for disabled persons (Hamburgisches Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz, HmbBGG) as well as the regulation on establishing accessible information technology for people with disabilities (Hamburgische Barrierefreie Informationstechnik-Verordnung, HmbBITVO).
Current compliance
The accessibility requirements come from Section 1 HmbBITVO in conjunction with Section 3 subsections 1–4 and Section 4 of the Federal accessible information technology regulation (Barrierefreie Informationstechnik-Verordnung, BITV), adopted on the basis of Section 11 of the Hamburg act on equal treatment for disabled persons (Hamburgisches Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz, HmbBGG).
Verification of compliance with the requirements is based on a self-assessment conducted between 10 October 2023 and 30 October 2023. According to this assessment, the website is only partially compliant due to the following inconsistencies.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
- There are no transcriptions for audio recordings of past events. As an alternative, accessible option, we have written reports of the events available that you can request. The audio recordings are embedded in the respective reports.
- External documents to which links are provided may not be accessible.
Date of creation or last update of the note on accessibility
