Fostering Researchers for Tomorrow
The Hamburg Research Academy is a cross-university institution for prospective and enrolled doctoral researchers, postdocs, W1 professors, and academic supervisors in Hamburg.
Mission for Hamburg
With the combined resources of our nine member institutions, we offer doctoral and early career researchers in Hamburg outstanding career support and training.
Services
Our services support, train, and connect researchers from all disciplines during the crucial first years of their career.
Improving conditions
We work closely with our member institutions to improve conditions for doctoral and early career researchers in Hamburg. Through conferences, panel discussions and committee meetings, we also initiate important debates on higher education policy.
Building networks
We maintain close partnerships with the graduate and service centers of our member institutions. Beyond Hamburg, we are active in national and international networks, allowing us to contribute to current developments in the support structures for doctoral and early career researchers.
