Research Communication Certificate
The Hamburg Research Academy gives you the opportunity to complete a structured continuing education program in research communication. At the end of the program, you get a certificate with an overview of the courses you took and as proof of your activity in the field of research communication, for example, when you apply for jobs.
What does the program cover?
The program is divided into 3 modules: a basic module, a topics & formats module, and a reflection & application module. Each module consists of at least 2 parts. You can start the program anytime because courses in all modules are offered every semester. There are links to the respective courses in the current program.
How do I get the certificate?
You don’t need to sign up for the certificate. After you complete all basic and topics & formats module courses, simply submit your proof of participation. We discuss the format and due date for your final project with you individually. At the end, we will issue the certificate.
Can courses be accredited that I completed before the start of the certificate?
If you have already completed research communication courses at the HRA, just submit the proof of participation for the examination to us. Courses such as Basics of Science Communication or Basis Wissenschaftskommunikation can be accredited for the basic module. Other workshops are accredited, for example, for the topics & formats module accordingly.
