As of now, you can register for the new workshops, information sessions and networking events organized by the Hamburg Research Academy.
Our cross-university event portal does not only list HRA offers. You can also find workshops for doctoral and early career researchers organized by our member institutions.
What's on the Program?
- HRA Spotlights: Our short information sessions explore key topics related to doctoral studies and the postdoctoral phase – from navigating the German academic system and funding opportunities to international mobility.
- Career Options: This series provides insights into career paths beyond academia and connects you with experts from professional practice. The next three sessions focus on careers in foundations, biology, and consulting.
- HRA City Walks: Our monthly city walks offer an opportunity to discover Hamburg from new perspectives and meet fellow researchers from all career stages.
- Postdoc Talks: A series by postdocs for postdocs, exploring current topics related to the postdoctoral phase and providing space for exchange. The next online talk on 27 October will focus on "Gender Equality in Science: Identify the Barriers. Shape the Change".
- Career Orientation: Group Career Counseling: Our group career counseling sessions give doctoral researchers and postdocs space to reflect on and discuss individual career paths, with a focus on academic or non-academic career options.
