As of now, you can register for the new workshops and information events organized by the Hamburg Research Academy. Please note that admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our cross-university course platform does not only list HRA offers. You can also find workshops for doctoral and early career researchers organized by our member institutions.

Our Highlights

  • Tag für Promotionsinteressierte on 6 October (in German): Whether it's the first steps, supervision or funding – in this face-to-face event you'll get answers to the most important questions about doing a doctorate.
  • Three Minute Thesis-Wettbewerb on 12 October (in English): At this event, doctoral researchers present their thesis project in 180 seconds and with only one presentation slide. It is sure to be an interesting and entertaining evening!
  • International Researcher Day on 8 November (in English): This day offers a complete package for postdocs: information session, various workshops and a panel discussion. You can attend all parts independently of each other.
  • Postdoc Talks (in English or German). This new online series offers postdocs a platform for their topics and questions.
